Dorothy
About Dorothy's story is one of neglect, but she’s ready for a brighter future. This sweet 10-year-old, 10-pound Pomeranian was found as a stray, confused and with half of her body hairless and no teeth. After joining our organization, it took some time for her to open up in her foster home, but she’s proven to be a gentle, loving girl. |
Dorothy is great with other dogs and cats, and while she spends most of her days quietly napping, she loves exploring the yard for a good sniff. She will need a patient family who can give her time to blossom at her own pace. Initially nervous, once she warms up, she’s all love, with not a mean bone in her body.
Dorothy passed her health check with flying colors. With the right care and diet, we believe her coat will regrow. She’s potty trained on a schedule, crate trained, and exceptionally quiet. While she may have some accidents during the transition to a new home, her sweet smile and wagging tail are well worth the wait.

Please be advised that all adoption fees go back into rescuing our animals. When you adopt from our organization you help save the life of the next dog or cat who joins.
Our animals will have been spayed/neutered, updated on vaccinations, de-wormed, flea treated, health checked, and micro-chipped at the time of adoption.
