Paw Squad is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers, and we are urgently seeking more helping hands to continue saving countless lives! There are many ways you can contribute, from cleaning our cat rooms, assisting as foster coordinators, helping at events, or even providing transportation.

Grant Writers
There are valuable grants available, and we need them. Securing these funds would allow us to expand our services to the community, with spay/neuter programs and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) being our top priorities.

Adoption Events
We hold adoption events every Saturday and are in need of volunteers to assist with various tasks, including walking dogs, interacting with potential adopters, cleaning the cat room, setting up and breaking down the event, providing care and attention to the animals, and transporting dogs between foster homes and the event. Your support helps us create a smooth and welcoming experience for both the animals and their future families!

Foster Coordinator
A Foster Coordinator ensures that our foster families have the knowledge and resources they need to provide the best care possible. Responsibilities include recruiting new foster families, coordinating pick-up times, organizing supply boxes, and managing communication with foster care providers to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Fundraising Coordinators
A fundraiser plays a crucial role in helping organizations achieve both short- and long-term financial goals. They do this by identifying and connecting with individuals, corporations, and foundations within the community who may be interested in supporting the cause through donations. Fundraisers build relationships, organize fundraising campaigns, and develop strategies to secure essential financial support.

Cat Care
At our PetSmart adoption center, we typically care for five cats and could use some assistance with their daily needs. Volunteers are needed for tasks such as feeding, refilling water and food bowls, cleaning litter boxes, doing laundry, and sweeping. Additionally, spending time playing with and loving the cats is a much-appreciated part of their care. Your help ensures a clean and nurturing environment for the kitties!

Foster Families
The more foster families we have, the more dogs and cats we can rescue from shelters. We provide the necessary supplies, food, and veterinary care, while you offer a loving home and guidance. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of these animals.

Donations
One of the resources our organization goes through the most is food! With hundreds of dogs and cats passing through our care each year, you can imagine the enormous amount we need to feed them. A few of our dogs require special food, and with rising costs, our monthly food bill is easily over $1,000. Whether for foster dogs, hospice dogs, or sanctuary dogs, we never compromise when it comes to their nutrition.
As you may be aware, winter is approaching! While the season brings plenty of fun, the cold is also setting in. Our blanket supply is completely depleted! If you have any gently used blankets tucked away, or if you're willing to grab a few new ones from a store like Walmart, we would greatly appreciate it. Every blanket finds a purpose here!

Donations are the driving force behind our organization. 100% of all donations go directly toward the care and well-being of our animals. We are always in need of pet supplies, as well as financial contributions to cover veterinary care. Currently, we are also seeking a larger transport van to help us transport animals to and from vet appointments and events.
